Christmas and TGIF and stuff, and...yeah...

Fa la la la la .. la la la la...

Or something like that. Yes, it's time for me to start truly looking forward to Christmas. Sometimes I'm a bit sluggish with the spirit, if you will. But I'm getting there. I can't wait to spend time with my family; it's one of my favorite times of year. I need to finalize plans, since Christmas will have to be at my parents' apartment this year (my Dad is on call at the hospital), but all seems well. This weekend will include wrapping presents and hitting the gem show with Mom and Heather. I am looking forward to seeing what the show has this year. I have found the coolest things there -- stuff I've never seen the like of anywhere else. If you're looking for unique presents, or gifts that make girls go squeeeee!, then the gem show is good. Excellent deals on all kinds of jewelry.   Anyhow....that's tomorrow.

Tonight is Game of Thrones, which I am very much looking forward to.  There are things I believe I am going to need to do, but I will miss those who cannot make it.  It won't be the same without most of my House present. :(  Bad times for coordinating games; holidays yank people all over creation.  Ah well; we shall muddle through.   I will miss those who cannot join us, however.

Requiem last night was the typical mindscrew and enjoyable time.  I admit that I trust our STs implicitly to run all the weird foggy things Vida did in her past.  It's so funny to see how clever they are; it's like everything I do has played right into their hands and plots the entire time.  Almost uncannily.  Either Rod listens to everything I say, or he and Gabe are freakishly tuned-in to how Vida's brain (and mine) works!  It's creeeepy, in all truth.  I say again, I enjoy watching everyone else's story unfold as much as I love my own.  It's funny to watch Nick....and in our scene last night, the looks we were exchanging as Gabe messed with our heads were priceless.  As usual.  I couldn't stop laughing and looking shocked.

On a conference call now, and having to go downtown for the Christmas party at HQ in about an hour ... so I will be sparse on email until this afternoon.  So don't think I have vanished.

Leave a message with one of the Communicants in the Dark Army; I'll get back to you when I'm done....
