OMG! I used to know a guy (Tracy-Willie Stout) who used to start EVERY story he EVER told with "No shit! There I was!" It was the funniest thing! And became such a huge joke among the group of friends. :) :) :) *giggles*

My "No shit! There I was!" reference comes from an old-school glossary that was collected in the early days of One World By Night. It was right below, "And then the Assamites popped out!"

I believe Frank O'Brien started the "No Shit! There I was!" beginning to all of his stories.
