A new obsess-- er, love!

I have spent the past week obsessively playing the PS2 game Jak and Daxter. If you have the faculties and the equipment to do so, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you all to go out, get it, and playitplayitplayitomgawesometastic. YOU HEAR THAT MUTHAFUCKAS? OBEY MY DEMAND OR SUFFER THE ~*CONSEQUENCES*~
That said, it really is amazing! The whole platform is based around a system of "travel to new locations, get missions, solve puzzles, advance plot, repeat". Sounds simple, yes? And it's brilliant in its simplicity! The puzzles are often ingenious (and ridiculously challenging). All the characters are so endearing and fascinating. And the plot - oh, the plot! Naughty Dog certainly didn't skimp on the plot department, for all this being a puzzle game. Twists and turns, ahoy!
And now I want to read fanfic so bad... but I've not even finished the first game. DD: The agony is killing me!
