Hello, it's me. I bring you stories and tales of woe, no wait, that's not right
So, how long has it been? There gets to be a point where there is no point in offering explanations and excuses.
I've missed a lot of you guys. Have been catching up on life. Grieving. Paying attention to the people and things I had to neglect while I took care of my mom. All that has taken a lot of energy. The grief took me by surprise. And I have been sick. Which sucks, but we will not discuss that.
I have been writing, and re-writing in one case. As I was getting requests for stories, which was cheering. (To paraphrase Sally Field in her Norma Rae acceptance speech, which some of you are old enough to remember and the rest of you can catch on You Tube, "They missed me, they really really missed me!")
The result has been several chapters going up at Moonshadow Tribe, thanks to the wonderful help of Thyme, aka oasis6028 who has been beta'ing and posting. Two new chapters in the WIP, "Land of Bone and Tears", the Redraven/Colleen O'Keefe story, and just this week, a new story, well, a sequel, but a new sequel to a completed story, "King's Wolf" which is the sequel to Wolf's Cub". (Like how that wordplay plays with the words there?)
King's Wolf takes up the story of Telepath Dominic Emory and his Metamorph mate Lycan almost immediately after the events of "Wolf's Cub", as their new Alliance of Telepaths, Metamorphs and Humans, with the aid of the powerful Dance Master, Nic's father Michael, strive to rid the Three Kingdoms of the evil Authority and its Council Guards. But they quickly face the enemy that bears the familiar face--and he brings tragedy to them at the worst possible time.
And all that happens by the First Chapter!!!
These are both original works, so I hope you like them. I am likely to do something a little more familiar for the Tribe's upcoming challenge but for now, this is more relaxing...and that is what I need.
So....I've heard from some of you and really appreciated those notes. As for the rest of you, what have I missed?
