It's not like I am on the internet all day
But when there is little work to do you tend to want to be amused by the www so far so good today.
Hubby's school has to cough up two more grades...so far he is maintaining his magna cum laude of 3.75 (or more) so I glad...more than that I am so happy he got an A- in his architecture history..some people can spin off dates etc. he isn't that hot at it but does give it that old college try.
Our frig at home is dying...so I tell the landlord who tries the instant fix...I now have a screw and a bungie cord holding the door closed and don't that make me feel secure (NOT!) and the freezer has more ice crystals in it so much so I am cleaning it out Friday night. Not tonight cuz I want to show them what is happening. The fan is squealing in the freezer and somehow I have this nasty thought that when we go away this weekend we will come back to a wet drippy floor with food that has gone bad in the freezer.
Options:
Buy a new frig ourselves: sales are on and we have contacts we can use.
Buy a new frig and have the amount taken out of our rent..this way we get to pick the frig and they get the tax write off
Let the landlord buy a new frig but the choice might make us sad
OR
Do nothing and pray the damned thing don't die.
Decisions decisions.

Got home JUST before the downpour and discovered that the bungie cord had made the beastie behave...less frosty in the freezer and bottom door stays closed..AMAZING!
Who knew a bungie cord could tame a frig?
