it's all about music
Hello friends,
Yesterday I was happy to be present at a closing of Aram Khachaturyan's violin contest, and it was simply amazing. Young people from all over the world playing Armenian music by Khachaturyan, which by the way my musical education allows to say is not easy. It is really fantastic how those youngsters could feel the melody.
And during the concert that the winners performed made me think about simple things. Such as I don't like many things about my country. The way people talk, how they act, what they think, etc. And i can't say i am a big fan modern let's say Armenian music. I have always been a fan of classical music, of course i have my preferences. But yesterday it was time to realize and accept that I need to first accept my culture fully and only the best sides of it certainly. We have had great musicians and we still have. And it is appreciated that Armenia is able to share and spread its culture across the world now days.
The main topic I was thinking about yesterday, is that You can't be something else from what you have born. Even if you don't like it, you should accept it. And after that you will be able to gain something new and be open for unknown.
I opened my heart for Armenian great music yesterday, I hope many of you will do that, if you haven't. See all the beauty of the music, even of this city, which I don't like, but certainly it can be beautiful from some point of view, a different one, the sun going down on it and you can admire it while standing on the top of Cascad. The lights of the night city and the sunrise over it early in the morning. You don't have to love the hot weather we are having every summer, but you can enjoy the nights in Yerevan, when there is this cool breeze i am feeling sitting on the balcony in my apartment.
Well, if i got a chance to share all my thoughts yesterday this post would have been much more touching and impressive. Unfortunately i didn't. And that is the magic of the ideas. You should write them down immediately, otherwise the moment is gone. I will work on it in future.
I hope I will come up more thorough later.
