where my memories are

St.Patrick’s Church (1845) Where my parents were married and where I was baptized :) I always thought ghosts lived inside the white monument so it always freaked me out and fascinated me a the same time!

Frere Hall (1865) We used to walk around in the park outside (and I'd pick all the marigolds on the paths!) the Hall and I loved all the books on the first floor library! The place was huuuge and positively gothic!

Clifton Promenade Monument (1920) I loooved this place! Us kids would climb up and then slide down the sides all the time. Also, right behind it was Karachi's equivalent of the PNE! lol

Karachi Grammar School (Junior) This is actually a picture of the kindergarten section, my classes were more toward the right side of the building but anyway. My dad went to KGS too and we were in the same 'House' (similar to Gryffindor/Slytherin .etc. in Harry Potter) i.e. Frere (named for Henry Bartle Frere) and our colour was red. Even though I think the house system is supposed to build closeness or something, most of my good friends were in 'Napier' (blue) or 'Streeton' (green)

the school logo and motto! Indocti Discant means "teach the untaught" or "let the unlearned learn" aaaaaaaaanyway... we even had a school song that we would sing at assemblies and stuff XD good times!
