Sailing lessons
Dinghy sailing is going well! I'm the only one at the moment, the other learners are on holiday, so we arranged to meet up at 5pm in the hope of having wind (which often drops around 6pm and dies around 7 - normally lessons are at 6:30)
So for today's lesson we had a fair amount of wind, enough to start off with a reef, but the wind was steady and not scary. And there was a bit of wave buildup on the river which was surprisingly fun. And I did lot of 8 shapes and a perfect approach on a mooring buoy and the weather was nice and it just felt good, maybe for the first time. It felt a little like kiting, like playing with the wind. Nice.
