Tolkien and the problem of female characterisation
Hi!
I've read a very interesting essay at fanfiction.net about Tolkien and the way he wrote his characters, especially the female ones like Eowyn and Arwen and I wanted to share the link with you. Personally, I don't quite agree with everything the author says (especially about she says about Aragorn rejecting Eowyn) but I still think it's worth a reading, so here we go:
