Gang fights in a classy neighborhood
I forgot to add to my last entry about my first witness of a gang fight. Granted, I knew this area ALWAYS has had gangs, but I've never seen one in action. We were driving by the car wash near the Lutheran church and about 3-4 cars were making dangerous U-turns in front of people. When we looked across the road (on the other side) there were about 100 people of varying ethnicities raising their arms in a "let's go" sort of way and there were cars parked everywhere - all over the road that the other side was trying to drive on. I know that shit happens everywhere, but that is a little too close to home, literally. Needless to say we didn't hang around to see what happened, but when we came back home later they were gone and there was no crime scene tape...so I guess they worked it out and hugged in the end :)
