my friend Meg was amused/astounded by my ability to sleep in odd places. I think its skill that is acquired by the sleep deprived combined with living far from home. When sleep is heavy and a bed far away, and a window of time opens up, let's say an hour...then a folding chair in a corner, a dusty rehearsal couch in a dark classroom, or literally anywhere in the library becomes an excellent place to sleep. And sleep comes lightly, it is not hard to dip in and out of consciousness. Ah. I am supposed to be somewhere else far away in 4 minutes. Goodbye.
