"I want for you to be apart of the organizing process, for you to help secure outside
sponsorships, and I want you to get in on the rip-roarin' good time!!!!!"

--from an email--

Why is grammar so hard? I am often lazy with it, sure, but i feel once one knows the rules the rules can be broken, especially if done stylistically or for some purpose. For example, i rarely capitalize 'i' as i know 'I' was popularized to save space in manuscript writing and was not originally intended to denote self as important in a sentence. Capitalizing one's own name in most contexts is narcissistic and unnecessary.

Anyway, i was semi-amused by the change of meaning poor grammar (or word choice?) had on that email, and almost always have to fight the urge to edit my sister's blog posts. I usually know what she means, but i know how she speaks. I also know how she spells fruit. How i curse Mrs. Froele with those years of high school english.
