I am leaving Saturday morning to head to the UP for a couple weeks. I'll be traveling around and seeing places in the UP I've heard about but never actually seen for myself. Can't wait! And I think it'll be a good break from life...
I am still absolutely loving my job at Jimmy John's. My boss still gives me a hard time, not as in being a jerk, but as in joking around and making me second-guess my perception of my work ethic...but I am learning when to take some of what he says with a grain of salt. I have been working a lot this week. This morning he brought me Cini-minis and orange juice from Burger King on his way back from the bank. It's nice to feel appreciated and like I'm taken care of, in a way.
Rachel is coming up to the UP next week, and she and I will hopefully be going to Mackinac Island together! I am sooo glad I won't have to go by myself. If she can't go with me, then I probably won't go. I fail to see how I'd have a good time by myself on Mackinac Island on my very first visit ever.
I have a lot to get taken care of tomorrow. I'm such a last-minute person! Ridiculous.
Andrew, Jackie, and I watched Bedknobs and Broomsticks tonight. Holly, Brian, and Angelina watched parts of it with us, but I don't think they were as interested. :) I just loved that movie when I was younger. Last time I was home, I couldn't find it with our movies, so I assume Mom taped over it or something. Lame! I could still remember most of the songs. Such a good movie. :)
Another 7 hour day at JJ tomorrow, then I have a lovely two weeks off! Hooray!
