Knock me down and I'll get up again
I cleaned most of my room yesterday and today I am tackling my computer desk and my "nightstand"/wicker storage chest. I just threw away bill stubs from September, a Meijer receipt from September, a Mars Hill weekly from October... in the words of Carolyn, "oy." It's nice to see the desk's surface beyond a small semicircle in front of the monitor.
It's crazy how much jewelry and hair stuff I have that I hardly, if ever, use. But yet I refuse to get rid of it, so when that one random day comes along that I want to wear it, I'll have it.
I admit that this is procrastination from cleaning some more... =\
The only Christmas gift I have so far is my Dad's, and I want to get him an iTunes gift card, too, if I have enough money after getting other gifts. I want to get mom a pedometer (she wants one to see how much she walks at work), and something else...there is a shirt I might get Rachel but it seems like I'm always getting her clothes and she has enough already, but I don't know what to get her! Kevin, no idea... my godson Preston is into Blue's Clues so it'll be fun shopping for him. :) Maybe I could make him a collage or something so it'll be something totally original, rather than a toy he could already have or could have gotten from someone else. I know what I'm doing for Katie, Sandy, Kim, Meghan, Leah, and Erin...I still need to get Erin a birthday gift...but I've missed a few of the other girls' birthdays...GEEZ. Ha. This is bad.
Well, I should get back to cleaning.
