Jackie and I just went to Meijer and I got the ingredients to make mojitos, and I made them for her, Angelina, and I. Mmm! My first try didn't quite turn out how I'd like it, but once I finish this glass I might try again.

Today I went to the post office to ship some books I sold on half.com, then I went to Target and got reeeallly distracted. My main goals when I went in there were to 1) look at bathing suits, 2) buy a wastebasket for the bathroom, and 3) try to find a birthday present for Rachel.

Well, I tried on a couple bathing suits and found one I liked! It was "on sale" for $26...not bad, I know, but I have NEVER paid that much for a swimsuit, so I'm a little upset. But here I am, nearing the end of the summer, and I finally bought a suit. I wanted one before I go to Michigan's Adventure, which is hopefully happening on the 26th.

I started looking for a wastebasket and then I saw bathroom stuff, which reminded me we need a toilet paper holder for the bathroom, too. Then I ran into Amber (one of my dgroup girls) and Kyle and chatted with them for a while. She's such a sweet girl. Always gorgeous. And she plans on going to cosmetology school after she graduates. Anyway, she was two-waying with her mom, telling her to pick up school supplies for her. That reminded me that I needed to get stuff, too. So after saying bye to them, I looked at TP holders and they were like 20 bucks! No way, Jose. Found a trash can, went for the school supplies. I got a couple cool-looking notebooks and then a pack of 10 plain ones for only $1! Sweet. Of course, pencils, and some binder folders. I for some reason always need to buy more than I should for school shopping. It's dumb.

And on my way out of the store, I started looking for gifts for Rachel, and couldn't think of what to get her. Then I found more bathroom stuff, and bought a TP holder that mounts on the wall, but I forgot they use screws and we have tile on our walls. So I have to return that. Whoops.

And I SWEAR, it was hellish child day today at Target, because there were two or three separate cases of demon children, all of which wouldn't stop screaming/yelling, and one of which who almost made me laugh by pleading with her mom not to "disown her as her daughter." This, coming from like a 6 year old!!!
