Work today was craaaaazy busy, due to the rainy weather. It was nice. I only had about 14 tables total because my tables were taking forevvvvver so there was barely any turnover (I had 8 tables in my section). The last party I had was Larry and his family, regular customers on Sundays. There were 22 people - 11 children, 11 adults! The kids were sooo well-behaved, so that was a relief. Larry had to write me a check for my tip because he said he didn't have enough cash - and it was $35!!! Definitely the best tip I've ever gotten - and I certainly wasn't expecting it. It was a 25% tip off a pretty big bill. It definitely made my day. I could use all the money I can get right now.
Yesterday, Chuck and I helped Ryan and Erica do a can drive to raise money for Haven Skate. It was a rewarding experience in many ways, and I absolutely love their little boys. Adorable.
Tonight I went to Mars Hill for the first time in well over a month, and it was much-needed and wonderful. After church, Chuck Sara and I got some Hot n Readys and brought them back to the house. We ate and played Scrabble with Angelina and Brian in our basement.
I love having a house.
