Back to school, back to school...

I can't believe fall semester starts TODAY.

I keep realizing that I barely had a summer, then remember all the things I did do this summer aside from work and classes, and it makes me feel better. For now, here's what I can remember (and see on my calendar):

May:
-Was accepted for the Writing Center
-Steph was down for orientation
-Bill came back to GR for MuteMath
-I was living with Jessica and Jackie temporarily
-Carolyn and I went to Spring Arbor, got pierced
-I moved into Jayme's apartment
-I went home and to Katie's cottage with my girls
-Visited Rachel in Wisconsin
-Greyhound bus back

June:
-Interviewed for a Mars Hill dgroup leader position
-Hung out with Meghan in Holland
-Went to the Mars Hill members meeting with Derik
-Spanninga's Hootenany
-Hung out with Carolyn's friend, Kelsi
-Root canal
-Went to Berkeley with Angie for Alicya's birthday, and hung out with Bill and Nina in Royal Oak

July:
-Drove Carolyn's car to Westland and went to Canada with Bill and Nina for the Dashboard/John Ralston show in London, ON
-Watched the 4th of July fireworks with Aunt Sue and Jeston
-P.J. Hoffmaster Park with Aunt Sue, Jerry, Jeston, Olivia, and Ansleigh
-Holland Farmer's Market w/ Amy
-Fiore and Zoey's Figure crashed at my apartment
-Jenna and Kylene's pool party on Spring Lake

August:
-Got my crown over my dead tooth
-Was told I will be a dgroup leader
-Moved into OUR apartment - B3
-Mom and Dad visited me
-Visited with Steph and Kim after they moved in
-Hung out with Ben, Pat, and Matt after they moved in
-Writing Center orientation
-Tattoo
-Hudsonville Fair with Amanda
-Jess moved in
-Honors Picnic @ Kirk Park with Sean

Not too bad.

This summer was peppered with visits to my counselor, visits to Paris Earth, evening trips to the beach, coffee dates with one Miss Carolyn Kraker, visits to Cannonball Studios in Holland, meeting with my community on Sunday nights after Mars Hill services, and lots and lots and lots of working and two summer classes.

I probably forgot a lot, and that makes me feel good, that I might actually have done so much that I can't possibly remember everything.

Well, back to school...

(And to add to my previous "Too many Ashleys" post, I realized yesterday that out of my 300some Facebook friends and 285 MySpace friends, not a one is named Ashley. I think I hold some sort of grudge.)
