This is the last game I'm likely to be analyzing and posting before Arden. Frankly, I'm burnt out on Scrabble(R) Brand Crossword Game and need a break, even if that means the newly-learned eights aren't down enough to be that useful and my power-tile fives are still a bit sketchy from lack of review. My least favorite part of pre-tourney prep is the enforced downtime; sad as this is to admit, I'm a slave to word study and the desire to get better, and forcing myself to stay away for a week or two is difficult, if necessary.
