Because I'm curious.

Game/activity ideas which you think would be cool.

I still haven't given up hopes for a character adoption activity! If you played at Anime LJ TCG or Twistserve, it's the same as Anime's 1UP and Twistserve's Recruit a Tennis Player. You earn points [maybe through leveling up and mastering decks?], and then you come to the activity to adopt a character of your choice. You use your points to 'buy' a special permanent ability. Remember your special Lottery and PoG prizes? Think of those prizes, only now you can use them for as long as you want. /o/ Though now that I think about it, if we allow these permanent special abilities, what's going to happen to our one-off lottery and POG prizes...

That sounds so neat! :o

The prizes could be made bigger than the usual PoG/Lotto ones, since there's a lot more work involved (if i'm understanding right), and then they wouldn't overlap! :D?

Yeah! Earning points is generally more difficult, and personally I wouldn't say no to bigger prizes. XDD

On that note though, arushiraoi replied to me with a suggestion about abilities using our own Colors characters - they're not permanent, but they're randomly given out and tradeable. So if you don't like what you received, you could trade with other players. I thought it was an awesome idea, do check it out! /o/

I like the idea, but maybe give the abilities a limited number of uses or something? This way we wouldn't get a group of overpowered users with their power level being over 9000, maybe include one ability for every Colors character and make it random and tradeable which ability ticket does a person receive?

For example, I've earned enough points for a ticket. I'm turning them in and I get a randomly selected Midorin ticket, which lets me donate one extra deck. I am disappoint, so I trade away my Midorin ticket to you for a Murasaki ticket, which gets me extra cards from RE.

I hope this made sense ;;

I actually really like your idea, especially since our current prizes for Lottery and PoG aren't tradeable, so being able to earn random abilities and then be able to trade them sound interesting. :Da Sometimes, I have prizes like 'double rewards for donated graphics!' but not everyone makes graphics, so the tradeability of abilities appeals to me.

And aah, it didn't occur to me that unlimited use of special abilities will end up skewing the playing field a fair bit. ;; Personally if I could adopt any character I want, I'd like to be able to keep the character for as long as you like, but I know where you're coming from. I think the random-and-tradeable-ability idea will work better and things will be much more balanced. o/

Using Colors characters sounds so cute ♥ The cards would look a lot more like part of a set that way than if we had thirty characters from thirty different shows. (And the cards themselves would be so cute~) Skimming the list on Twistserve, some of their prizes are similar to ones that would already come out of PoG/Lottery and the rest would be super easy to narrow down to 9-10 really awesome rewards.

Trading them also sounds neat! Would the limits reset once they were traded, though? Otherwise someone might end up trading a card with four extra monthly donations left on it for a card with only one re-mastery. Only then people might end up using all but one use on a card, trading it, and then repeating it so the card never really dies- but idk that people around here would take advantage of it like that.

I was thinking that either the prize card is only tradeable before the player starts using it (and each use is marked on the card somehow, just like we mark trades on sketchpads) or the limits do not reset and the player knows exactly what they are trading for. Otherwise, if these can be recycled like that, we might end up with too many prize cards in circulation which defeats the purpose of them being special rewards.

Just a random idea, but I thought of a special reward, similar to mastering a deck for winning and using up all kinds of prize cards - this way there won't be a problem with one type of prize being far more popular than the other. We don't want any Colors character to become the Cain03 of prize cards |D;;;

If the prize card is bound on use, there could be a line on it to mark who it belongs to, plus a square to punch in for each use- or if they're tradeable after use, there could be a line for each use and every time it's cashed in, the player's name is marked on a line. It'd be the same as having marks on a sketchpad, but with the added neatness of being able to trace the trading line. (Maybe I'd be the only one interested in that :D:)

I like that idea, too OTL I'd love this game to death if it actually happened
