Sunshine and One Big Update.
Things have taken a sharp u-turn for the better, in the last 12 hours. I got the day off today, and it stopped raining, so I'm going to hole up and write this paper that's due tomorrow...just as soon as I finish paying attention to the internet. I was working almost 40-hour weeks the last month, which almost killed me, I think. BUT, I've made enough money to pay off my non-Benny's paycheque debt, and might buy myself some more UNDERWEAR.
Also, I love the way that coffee beans smell when you cut open the bag for the first time. My new job at Bean Around The World requires me to open maybe, 20 huge bags of coffee a day, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I like just sticking my whole face in there and inhaling.
In related news, my bosses have given an approximate BENNY'S WILL BE OPEN deadline of roughly 3 weeks...so, soon.
AND THEN: They just built a 24 HOUR TIM HORTON'S next to the liquor store by my house...like, a real suburb one, not these stupid gas station Timmy Ho's that Vancouver has everywhere. I'm moving away from this neighbourhood in 36 days, but before that, I suggest that JC and I have a party featuring the spoils of our neighbourhood: BOOZE! 24H TIM HORTON'S! GREAT INDIAN TAKE-OUT! HIGH-SCHOOL KIDS BY THE BUCKETLOAD! Thoughts?
Finally, I just drank a litre of chocolate milk while typing this. I feel like I'm made of lead.
