college college & more college
I applied to ten schools, have heard back from seven and will here back from the remaining three by next Monday. So far I've heard from slash been accepted to:
San Diego State
Long Beach
Chapman
University of Puget Sound
Syracuse
Skidmore
Univeristy of San Diego
I'm still waiting on Connecticut, Trinity and Pitzer.
I honestly thought I would only have three or four colleges to choose from, but having options has made the decision so much more difficult.
Univeristy of San Diego had been my number one for quite some time, but, as it turns out, they have offered the worst financial
aid package and when your dealing anywhere between fourty to fifty-five thousand per year... financial aid is a big deal.
My family continues to tell me that they'll figure it out and that I shouldn't turn down a school because it doesn't offer enough money, but that's pretty difficult to do when Skidmore offered me full tuition and half of my room & board.
I don't know where I want to live, I don't know what I want to study, I don't know what I want to become.
I didn't think anything could be more stressful than applying to college, but I've been proven otherwise.
