2) I feel like it's entirely possible - despite the fact that most of the assassins we see in the game are rather...well-balanced, I have no doubt that there are definitely a few loons in there. (Maybe it's Altair, haha, with that homicidal grin he keeps on making when he kills, in the game.)

7) I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM EITHER, not because Malik and Maria died, but because those deaths were just so undeserving. >: But I agree! I look forward to the future, and may they not make the mistakes of their forefathers.

I’m so happy you deanoned, because I totally missed this in the kinkmeme and wow. Wow in the ow-ow-my-heart-is-breaking kind of way. Oh, man. Painfully good, actually, but to the extent that it touches achingly gorgeous coming back around the other side. I love the way you handle their pre-AC1 lives particularly. It makes sense, and the little concrete details just seal the deal.

They had known each other for almost the entirety of their lives, and suddenly it wasn't enough.

But this especially. Because no. No, it never is. UBISFOT >:(

And I was totally considering saying something to this effect on my reply to your comment, but I just love your AC fic. Just, in general. Lots and lots. It’s so visceral in some ways and also elegant. I’m glad thing you posted newfic so soon and I can gush at you properly!
