I love how Adachi is basically being called a crazy-axe murderer with a TV and it makes his day ~minty fresh~ lol

The familiarity of the term still makes her pause, he knows, which is exactly why he does it.
though he doesn’t always keep his promises these days, he at least remembers that he should be making an effort to (small steps).

the turtle-speed pace of Nowheresville-Turned-Inaba was somehow surprisingly perfect (like many things, sometimes the best fits are the ones you grow into).

THIS IS JUST. SO.

It looks an awful lot like Nothing Happening, but Adachi is older and wiser now; he can tell the subtle, almost negligible, gargantuan difference.
I mean, if you don't dig these characters then this fic might seem like a lot of Nothing Happening, but this subtle, spot-on characterization makes this fic so, so so so, MMMMFFFH♥♥♥ MY HEART TURNS SOMERSAULTS FOR YOU.

I read both "On How to Breathe" and this, and thought that the way you conveyed things happening, but nothing really happening (I don't know how to explain it well ^^) was really well-done.

Showing this kind of day-to-day, falling into routines sort of thing, except with the hint of danger that's never really gonna go anywhere, makes for an interesting story, I think. ^_^
