"Jin at 40" preliminary sketch
Like an idiot, I did this really really quickly with a pen! Duh! Should have used a pencil... I hate it when I start doing something and it actually comes out looking half decent and I can't even clean it up. lol
It's OK, this is just a preliminary sketch to see if the idea is worth doing a full-out version or not. Methinks this is a go. But then again, it's got Jin (I'd love the more mature version anyday!) and my favorite type of sakura -- the weeping cherry... There's no way I would not like this idea. lol!!!! XD Anyway, when I do this again, his hair will be silvery grey, kimono most likely black or some other dark color other than blue (and I'm thinking about going without the crests...), night time sky with cherry blossoms dimly glowing in pale pink in the moonlight. *sigh...my mind's already seeing this full out*
I haven't done a serious pretty one in a long while, so this will be good for my soul. XD
