Tristin and I started practice today and, much to my surprise, pulled rough versions of 5 songs together in a scant three hour session. No easy ones here, we ended up tackling challenging stuff, tricky rhythms for me and complicated solo rewritten into psychedelic/post-punky basslines for him. This will be a slow rebuild but this is the big, last hurrah for the live band, all or nothing. Hope to play a few shows this year but the big stuff starts next Spring when the set and the new record are both ready.
