They're practicing drop-spins and flag tosses in the Courtyard.

My golly is this semester a killer! But hey, I'm nearly finished...if you count the days. The workload? Bleh.

Yikes! Two and a half!

I could go for summer. Right now. This weather is amazing, and I want a period without obligations to go with it.

In the mean time, I'm fed up with the Internet(this is the first time it's worked in at least a day), and I'm fed up with MSN/hotmail. I'm waiting this semester out, then I'm switching everything. Damn this technological age in which we live! Why can't we go back to wooden #2 pencils! Well, at least I still have mine. I'm becoming increasingly more convinced that I was seriously born in the wrong decade. *sigh* I like vinyl records.

I had my interview for band leadership, and I feel good about it. That doesn't mean anything, considering everyone and their dog applied for the two open spots. But I know I didn't totally biff it. Always reassuring.

Last night I went in for the theory homework help-session. Let me say that this is the first time in a while that I felt confident when I turned in my work. I'm always thinking, "This won't be pretty," and I'm usually right. Theory is so much tougher this semester, and it's hard when I'm no longer interested. While I know I'm doing fine in the course, it's still embarrassing to have so many errors on homework.

I'm looking forward to the day when my homework comes from a book and tests don't involve singing.

I know I say it every semester, but I'm looking forward to next semester.
