Quilting magazines, People (I know. Guilty pleasure!), TV Guide, Writer's Digest. I'm a magazine addict
What's your occupation?
None really, except quilter. Wait, that says "occupation" not profession. I am "occupied" with reading and sewing and computer stuf like LJ. I am a retired psychotherapist/grief and trauma resolution counserlor and ordained minister. I am still a writer.
What's really creepy?
Self-satisfied Xtians (oooo, Jeff, that was such a good answer that I'm keeping it) and those who think they have all the answers.
Who is your celebrity crush?
I'm awfully fond of Gordon Ramsay (I know, another shocker). Can't think of any others. Oh, I guess I have a tiny one on youngster Jason Castro!
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Magazines, books on Kindle, and fabric

What are you most excited for?
It takes A LOT to get me excited about anything, but probably woudl say my new sponsorship of Juan, an 11 yr old boy in Bolivia
If you could have any profession that you wanted, what would it be?
A teacher of students studying to be counselors or social workers -- classes on human behavior and how to listen (wow, I had no idea I was going to say that!). .Or a published author.
What was the last thing you bought?
A book for my Kindle. I love sampling books and then picking out a new one to read.
What's you favorite season?
Autumn.
Does the weather affect your mood?
Somewhat. If we didn't have central air? A lot. And damp, humid weather makes me hurt, which also affects my mood.
What is your zodiac sign?
I don't believe in that stuff, but I *am* a Pisces, and a textbook case.
Do you want to learn another language?
Yes! I took French in high school and college, and Latin for two years in high school. I want to learn French again, and Spanish, but am I doing anything about it like getting books on it or anything.... uhhh.....

A brother and half-sister who have already died, a sister and a brother still living.
