What if they were closer than a friend? The relationship that was had might be something you can't recreate.

Bonds such as friendship are not fragile. A closer bond is stronger and tighter. If you continue to hold on to your end of the rope, it is only a matter of time before the other end is drawn back towards you. Do not let the rope be yanked away from you do to confusion or uncertainty.

For now, focus on taking care of her and being the friend that everyone needs when they arrive in Mayfield. But do not give up yet. Love needs faith to stay strong, I believe.
