I've been reading a lot of tarot cards lately. Mostly because Shannon makes me take my cards every time I go to her house. My mom has been on my ass about it too. She made me do readings for almost everyone in the house the other night. Shannon made me do readings for everyone at her appartment last night, too. It's nice to have plenty of people to read for lately because I don't really like reading cards for myself. I've noticed that it's a lot easier for me to do readings for people I don't know well. Jackie is always the hardest person for me to do readings for (but lately it's been easier), probably because she's like a sister to me & we've known each other for 11 years. Manny was also hard to read for, so I started wondering if it was just a Virgo thing (him & Jackie are Virgos), but I doubt it. Manny didn't seem to really want his cards read, so I'm going to assume this is why they were very vague. To be honest, I wasn't too interested in reading his cards either.
Shannon has taken an interest in learning tarot. I was letting her play around with my cards a few nights ago when I was at her house. I think I'm going to buy her a deck of her own for xmas. I'm not sure which one yet. I've been thinking about getting her
this one, which I might buy for myself at some point.
I've also noticed that when you read cards for some one & they just sit there for a moment after the reading with nothing to say, you've done a good reading, because you've usually struck a chord somewhere. This is what a couple of Shannon's friends were like last night when I did their readings.

I got home around 10:45 last night & ended up just hanging out in bed naked crocheting my scarf until 3:35am. Needless to say, I got quite a bit of it done. I'd say it's about half-done, since I want it to be a really long scarf. Crocheting is easy as hell to learn & it just get easier. My scarf looks kind of fucked, tho. It starts out at one width, gets skinner at some point--when I noticed this, I took some rows out & redid them wider, then it kept getting wider, then it went back to about the same width I started with. Eh, whatever, it's the first time I've crocheted anything since I was about 10 years old, so I didn't expect much to begin with. Plus, I'm not picky & I'm going to wear the fucked-up-looking scarf anyway, just because I made it myself.
I already have plans for a different scarf once this one is finished because I saw some nice yarn at Walmart the other day. I'll probably start that one after xmas when I have some money.

Speaking of money, Jae still owes Christine $10 for my morning after pill.
I didn't forget ya, 'Stine, just need to grab the money from Jae at some point & swing by yer house to drop it off, or give it to you the next time we hang out.
