Element 118!
Well holy shit.
Slashdot posted an article about some physicists have managed to make some of Element 118. Hot news as it's supposed to be one of the stable noble gases. I can't read the scientific jargon to know how long the thing actually lasted for, but I'm sure it was made in some kind of nuclear reaction so the odds are not long. Still that's freaking great news and very exciting, I almost can't wait to bring it up to my chem teacher on Monday.
In other news the Dresden Dolls were fabulous. Well worth the money and I will go see them again every chance I get. Also the opening band The Red Paintings had an interesting sound I look forward to playing there album to see how there studio sound was. I mean anyone with Geisha's playing an electric violin and bass guitar is alright in my book.
