Imbolc!
Midwinter is fast approaching and I'm going to have a bonfire to celebrate. Actual midwinter is the 4th of February, but for the sake of having a good party, I'd like to celebrate on the following Friday, the 6th. therightwaye has agreed to host the fire and party at his house. I'd love it if people could bring contributions of snacks and drinks and whatever. It'd be nice to have some hot drinks, at least.
I have a line on some firewood, but I'd love to have a back-up, so if you know of anyone who has a supply, let me know. Also, if you're excited to bring something food-like, tell me so I can coordinate the supply of refreshments. I figure since it's winter we can start the fire early and actually be done with it by the time we're supposed to (10:30).
So come celebrate the midway point of Winter, just six weeks before the equinox, and in that time the days will get longer by 2.5 hours.
