I can only hope some of them listen. That they would take hope from a place that continually abuses them is nothing but foolishness.

It is simply the folly of man, and I do fully expect many to make this possible mistake.

I am just hoping I can deter at least a few with the same repeated warnings I have heard others give.

It is up to them to learn from their mistakes...we can only do so much.

That is the most effective way for people to learn a lesson that desperately needs to be taught.

Tis often better to observe than to become a crutch. However if anything sufficiently terrible happens I will not be able to stand idly by without rendering aid.

I simply cannot act against the code of Chivalry in such a way.

It is not something worth planning for, no. Such an obvious trap is something you would not expect others to spring...however we are likely pleading to deaf ears in this case.

The temptations of power are simply too much for humans to resist...especially if that power was something they once had.

We must simply do our best to recover from this situation, and hope many of them, especially the newer ones, will have learned something in the process.
