This made me recall all of the reasons I like 5927. Their awkward moments, how both of them struggle with opening up, reaching out & a certain degree of loneliness. But also how rewarding their relationship is when they eventually get past those things. I also thought you managed to nail Gokudera's voice particularly well, which is important considering that the fic is in his point of view.

I stumbled on this pretty randomly and I'm glad I did, because I love this fic! It was my favourite from that contest. I have a weird affection for this kind of presentation of Yamamoto in Gokudera/Tsuna fics, all good-natured friendliness and accidental matchmaking. And I just love how Gokudera and Tsuna are with each other here; hopeless and bad at getting it and trying really hard to get to the something real underneath. And making it funny and adorable.
