Scones!
Rob and i went to this wonderful place called the gryphon tea room on our honeymoon..we went there almost everyday for tea, which was good, because the hot tea was pleasant since it was FREEZING outside. We usually ordered the "tea set" which was a pot of hot tea - about 5 cups, fruit salad and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
we even brought a scoop of the madagascar vanilla bean tea home with us. I'm now looking for a cute tea set to serve it with, as well as a good scone recipe or mix along with a small jar of clotted cream. i'm looking forward to having kim and shonda over for tea when i actually get a nice tea set. ( i am dropping hints to rob's family.. since they keep asking.=P )
oh yea.. and sugar cubes!! gotta have sugar cubes. Though i'm pretty sure a trip to the British pantry will fix most of my problem..i'm just going to have to remind meyself to drop by there next time i'm out for groceries.
