Apparently...it's gone...
I distinctly remember revising several scenes of Gallery of Lies a while back. I know I re-wrote a particular scene that's been on my mind. I KNOW I did. I sat on my bed and typed it on my laptop. I've searched all the files on the laptop, both flashsticks, and the destop. I must have saved over it because it's gone. After three days of repeatedly opening the files, hoping it will be there, I've given up and resigned myself to starting over on that section from the original draft. I suppose it's really not a big deal. It's not like the original draft dissappeared--and now I'm insanely knocking on the wooden desk. Still, it's a lot of time and effort. I'm frustrated. I save stuff in so many places because I want to prevent this kind of thing from happening. I guess I need a more organized system.
