A Little Writing Brag
So I did make a spreadsheet to track my progress on revising Gallery of Lies. That sounds more impressive than it is. Actually, I did a "save as" on an excel template and filled in the blanks. It's pretty cool though, because it tells me things like total hours spent writing, daily words per hour, average words per hour, etc. The best thing about it is that it calculates how close to finished I am. After three days, I'm 12% into draft two which puts me in the middle of chapter three. I'm scared to type it because I might jinx myself, but after my agony with chapter one, things are smoothing out and picking up. They are probably destined to slow down this week since I start back to school tomorrow. I should have done some studying today, but my characters were calling me...
