Writing Goals for June 9-15
Okay, this is a little late making it to my journal, but these are the goals I posted on the DSRA loop for the week. I've decided that from now on, I'll post them here as well, so I can go in and strike them out as I finish them. That's a nice feeling. :)
NEW GOALS:
1) Decide whether or not to enter a contest with a postmark deadline of June 15th. I'm still debating on whether I want to shell out the money and postage on this one, so that's why I'm not setting the goal of actually entering. If I decide to enter...I'll have it in the mail by Friday. I'll probably do it. Did It!
2) Complete final touch ups on chapter 5. Done! I did this for chapter 6 too.
3) Re-revise chapter 7 (when I get it back from CP1) to send to CP2.
4) Revise at least chapters 8 and 9 to send to CP1.
5) Send in my pages for DSRA critique. I would have done it this week, but I didn't realize we were supposed to go ahead and send them. Then when I got back to my hotel, it was already canceled. :( My pages are ready. My goal is just to get them sent. :) Still not sure we had enough people send pages for us to have critique this week, but I sent mine.
I'd still like to work on pre-writing and outlining for another story, but this current monster (Gallery of Lies) takes priority... If I have a few free minutes, I might do this too. My goals are probably bigger than my time frame as it is. We'll see.
