Today was "let's go have fun all by myself" day, because I'm worth it. ;) *tosses hair L'Oreal style*
I actually got up early this morning, caught the bus, and hung out at the mall until I reached my daily limit on my interac card. :D I had thought about seeing a movie, but realised that I had waaay too much stuff to do to take 2-3 hours out and see a movie. Maybe I'll have myself a movie weekend next weekend or something. :) Anyways, I spent entirely too much money on two t-shirts and a lovely brown cardigan at Old Navy (I barely shop anywhere else now, Old Navy's blend of comfort and casual style has eaten my soul), spent my Christmas Chapters giftcard from grandma on a harcover copy of "Mirror, Mirror" (it's Merlie's fault for bringing its existence to my attention ;P), a real version of Sarah McLachlan's "Afterglow" (my burned copy wasn't very good, and her spot on Vicky Gaberau made me feel guilty, so I caved and bought it), and found a copy of Maroon for $10 in a used CD store near the bus stop. I have to go back to that shop soon...there were Bright Eyes CDs there, but I didn't have cash and they didn't have interac. Later this week. *nods* I also bought assorted housekeeping stuff, but that's random and not as fun.
I ate greasy KFC and drank a "Pinata Colada" smoothie, then I caught a bus back and double-checked inactives. A good day was had by all. :D
I'm glad that I feel comfortable enough to just go out and have a day like that. It seems like nearly everyone else I know in RL is paralyzed to go anywhere unless they can drag someone else along. I love my own company. I always get my jokes, at least. ;)
