MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
A Belated Merry Christmas to you all. *g* An a *punctual* happy boxing day to those of you in the commonwealth, and an *early* Happy New Year. :D
Christmas was wonderful. I was slightly worried- the 23rd was a day full of wishing I wasn't here, but Christmas Eve fixed all that and I felt like myself again. I was starting to think that I wouldn't be my usual stay-up-all-night-because-I'm-so-excited-about-Christmas self, but it all worked out in the end. :D
I now own and have read QTTA and FB. Bring on that quiddy pratice! *bg* I'm going to spend some quality time tonight with the "Ladies", as Santa dropped off a copy of Barelaked Nadies. :D My sister (yes, the surly teenage one...oops) was amazingly creative and sweet- took a pair of plain black shoes, had mum help her spraypaint them with six coats of red, and then 3 coats of sparkles- Voila! Ruby slippers. *bg* <3
Christmas is always wonderful. It's not really the presents....it's all about the feelings. I was thinking early on Christmas Eve that Christmas, in a way, brings out the greedy child in everyone. But we balance this by giving parts of ourselves with every gift, and every Christmas smile. We more than balance it....everyone comes out a little cleaner of spirit by Boxing Day. :)
Anyways, I'm rambling. Happy Holidays, everyone! I'm off to my grandparent's for a bit, then we'll be swarming with company here, then a couple days of rest before the long train ride back to school. <33333 *hugs*
