Hearts on fire, you'll learn, end up with heartburn

I attended my third BNL concert last night, with the best seats I've ever had (just one row behind Kev's dad! We're in same section as family!). I love the Ladies, and no matter how many bands I fall in love with, now that I'm an indie music snob, I still don't believe I'll ever find a better live show or a better group of fans.

Setlist:
One Week
The Old Apartment
Adlib 1 (519, "Liquid, Liquid, it is good! Liquid in your neighborhood!")
Sound of Your Voice
Maybe Katie
Some Fantastic
Straw Hat and Old Dirty Hank
Adlib 2 ("Canada Curling Stone")
Too Little, Too Late
Lovers in a Dangerous Time
Adlib 3 (Barry Roni/Beef-a-roni)
Grade 9
Aluminum
I'll Be That Girl
For You
Yoko Ono
Wind it Up
Angry People (Dancing! Yay!)
Pinch Me
Jane
Alcohol
All Been Done
Brian Wilson
Easy (Encore)
Million Dollars (Encore) (Making out the in relish!)
What a Good Boy (The encore to the encore)

To those who like to keep track of these things: 5 songs from Gordon (woo!), 1 from Maybe You Should Drive, 2 from Born on a Pirate Ship, 5 from Stunt, 2 from Maroon, 3 from E2E, I don't know where to categorize Lovers (Disc One?), and only 4 from BLAM. I love that we actually got more songs from Gordon than from BLAM, because I haven't really learned BLAM yet, but have been in love with Gordon since I was 12.

The dance number on this year's tour is "Angry People", and for those of you who can't attend a concert, this video may just be the next best thing. (It's not mine, I just searched on YouTube. It wouldn't let me embed it, so you'll just have to click).

Other exciting things going on in my life, since I haven't been blogging for over two months...
-James came to visit last weekend. It was good times. :)
-I met up with an old friend from high school for ice cream this morning while we were in London. Seeing people from high school is weird, especially when you learn of three acquaintances who are currently happily pregnant in only one sitting. Sometimes news from Haliburton still astounds me.
-amidst all the drama at home, my family randomly decided to get a kitten.
-Alternative Spring Break begins a week from tomorrow. I'm headed to New Orleans with a group of residence students to build houses with Habitat for Humanity. I know, I don't seem the building type. But it's going to be a life changing adventure nonetheless. There'll be a group blog up at http://windsor-asb.blogspot.com, headed up by yours truly, so you should probably check that out as next two to three weeks unfold.
-graduation is approaching far too quickly, and I'm not sure I'm ready for it. Some days I am. I'll ruminate on that when I feel I have the time, devotion, and energy to make a really solid blogpost.

Some days I miss the internet. Some days I don't. That's all of the reflection I have for the moment...
