(no subject)
Tomorrow (well, today- it is after midnight, after all!) is my last day of freedom before work starts. Ah, goodbye bliss! Goodbye sleeping 'til one in the afternoon! I will miss.
Opening night for the summer festival is Tuesday! *loud scream* I think we're ready- but I certainly didn't think so a couple of days ago when our only crew member walked off of the set. Today, we had three fresh crewmembers (one who happens to by my mum), who had never even seen the show before, and yet the whole thing went better than ever before. Thank the theatre gods for miracles!
I love that mum's gotten involved with the festival this year. She's happy. I haven't seen her this happy and smiling in nearly as long as I can remember. I think she's just glad to spend more time out of the house as well as have an excuse to quit her job (for the summer at least), and who can blame her?
I can't wait until people actually come and see this show! They'll laugh themsevles silly. ;)
