I have a ton of major things due in the next week, so of course today was a day of mass procrastination.
Thankfully, Fate is wonderful, and provided quite nicely, with
this. Sabrina and I have spent much of the day running back and forth between our rooms, getting different perspectives on the smoke. (Sabrina's room faces Detroit, while mine is on the other side and faces Windsor.) While we've since heard that the smoke is possibly (read: probably) toxic, it is still strangely hyponotizing and beautiful, while eerie at the same time.

We've had to advise all of our students to shut their windows, as the Detroit FD is letting the fire burn out, and Detroit Police have advised that the smoke may be toxic. It's a far cry from the photos I posted a week ago from home...
