Old Songs-remember me?
You know those songs you LOOOOVED and played over and over again....then just forgot about them?
I revisited two songs by Tokio Hotel that I really love. Totgeliebt/Love is Dead and Spring Nicht/Don't Jump.
I know they're both sad songs, but the arrangements of both are so beautiful, and Bill's voice still had that gruffness to it that I liked. (Don't get me wrong, I still love his voice, I just miss the gruffness a little bit....but he was (and probably still is) singing unhealthily so I really shouldn't like it. But that's a whole 'nother journal entry).
The harmonies in the background were still done by other band members (which I LOVE, the Gs have wonderful voices!), which brings out a more dynamic sound rather than just Bill Bill Bill.
Reminded me of how much I love Zimmer 483. Damn good album.
Ah....I guess that's it. I'm doing pretty good right now.
