No pain, all gain
I'm in an Apple store and it has free internet. I arrived yesterday. First thing we did was go to Bleecker Street to find the Marc by Marc Jacobs shops. I haven't bought anything yet but that won't last long.
Last night was the Bright Eyes. We were saying that it would be great if the guest was Nick Zinner. Well, it turned out to be true. I still can't believe it. Plus there was Maria Taylor and then Ben Gibbard came to play a couple of his own songs alone. The band joined him then for We will become silouhettes. I never thought I would hear a Postal Service song live but I did! But the greatest thing of the evening was Janet Weiss on drums. She looked so cute with her perfect fringe and amazing drumming skills. I also saw Lee Renaldo on the way out, which is always nice. We're seeing Bright Eyes again tonight and I really don't know how it could be better. For a start, we'll be on the front row, so that should help. Is Fiona Apple a friend of Conor Oberst by any chance?
Today we went to Chinatown and we bought food at Whole Foods that we ate in Central Park. It is far too warm for my body but apparently there should be some 'isolated storms' tonight.
