Grandma's Presents
Mkay, so with the money my grandmother gave me, I ordered three books:
-Folding Architecture: Spatial, Structural, and Organizational Diagrams
-Marker Magic: A Designer's Guide to Coloring Problems (because it sucks rendering with markers, but it looks fuckin' awesome if it's done right)
-Architecture Now (Vol. One)
So, she's going to have to look out for four books including the book I ordered last week for class. And a letter from school telling me if I got in with my 80 page portfolio! I'm sure I more that likely got in because I was one of the only one's who followed the rules rigidly, and I'm the only one that has absolutely no typos and no printing errors. But, I'm still extremely nervous about it. :( I know that Katie's getting in, even though she had typos, and I know that Lauren's getting in even though she had some stupid printing error that made her pretty portfolio look kind of bad (yet another reason why I don't go to Kinko's, those losers). Everyone else, I'm kind of iffy about. I never got to see LaToya's, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Ashley...*shudder*..I hope she doesn't get in. She didn't follow the rules AT ALL. Matt...I don't even want to discuss his!
That's sad! Six people are eligible to be in my class next semester. Well, I know that we're picking up Brian from 3rd year because I think he flunked a core class or two. No wonder Sherry and Michael looked so depressed that day we turned our stuff in. They were only worried about three of us getting out stuff in.
