Well, this is a fairly old poem, but I feel bad for never posting so I'll put this up to kill time. It's a bit different for me, but let me know what you think. Many of you have probably already read it.
A PLACE CALLED TIME
Can I take you to this place I know?
I think you will like it there.
The flowers sing
and the water fills the air.
Everything seems upside down.
It's kind of strange
but the voice of time does not exist
More silent than the rain.
The birds are planted on the ground
which rests above my head.
I stand on the sky with you by my side
and kiss the clouds cool hand.
As we cheat time, we remain embraced
Delicate drifting, locked eyes
The hearts can't feel their pace.
In this moment would we stay,
and rob the clock of truth?
Perhaps I'll stay here, the destination
named time, and accumulate age with you.
Enjoy or hate, whichever you prefer
