so, susanna and i were in the car over the summer headed down to venice beach on olympic and about 18th street. we see a homless man standing on the corner (actually the center divider grass thing) and i happne to recognize him (despite ethe fact that this is la and we have a rediculously large amount of homeless people)...
i just happened to have packed a lunch that day bc i was coming from art class so we rolled down the window to offer the man a yogurt.
me: wouuld you like a yogurt?
man: what kind is it?
susanna: um...vanilla
man: do u have anything else? (so much for beggars cant be choosers)
me: i have an apple...
man: sure ill take that
one of us: do u want the yogurt too?
man: uh no thanks
but the nice thing is that we gave him the apple. and he didnt want the yogurt. not sure why not. but it was cool that i recognized him bc the only times i ever see him are when im on the bus. once he was looking for the v.a. building. i helped him find it. but he didnt recognize me. and thats ay-oh-kay.
let me know if u want more stories bc i have more. and ones of random niceness by others to me. i love this world...
