I have been without internet! I finally have my internet back after moving into a new apartment *excited*. Hopefully I can catch up with everyone's entries this weekend, I've missed a lot of awesome art!
For the remainder of the first week I focussed on another character in Pride, Zebaucher. Like Urz, Zebaucher is a Greater Shape-Shifter, and every inch as foul as it looks. Formerly the highest-ranking of the six Greaters in Pride, Zebaucher looks the part of its social standing.
Zebaucher isn't a "new" character by any means, but this would equate to only the second time I've ever drawn it. It's arguably one of the more "classical" looking Demons in my project.
I've always been confused with how a centaur would work in real life, and in being essentially a centuar-like creature, Zebaucher poses a lot of artistic problems, main thing being the question of just how to handle its anatomy. So I did a few studies of how it could possibly be constructed.
Simplified alternative. I've always had immense trouble with wings, but I am slowly getting more familiar with them.
Urz and Zebaucher are intense rivals, with Urz being at the bottom of the social hierarchy and Zebaucher at the top. The social chain in Pride is extremely limited and guarded with incredible fierceness. While Urz has a greenish tinge to its grey hide, Zebaucher has a more reddish tone.
