We're back for another round of ArtSlam here I year number 6! This June sign ups will be open until midnight on Saturday 31st May GMT so that everyone has plenty time to prepare their project for the next month -- or two, or three!

Goal at ArtSlam signup: Hard for sixth year running as I'm weird.

Concept: Heading back to the ASylum verse which I should really freaking rename! I'll also be doing either page roughs, character sketches or (Hopefully) a couple of pages for my comic Red Ribbons.
Who is your favourite artist or author? Links?: The numbers are vast and numerous.
When did you start drawing? What do you love about it the most?: Since in status of small child. It lets me make things like the Notalope and Bumble Cats.
Any shout outs in particular for other ArtSlammers this year?: We're back and nobody has tried to overthrow me from power so clearly I did something right!
What's one thing you'd like to improve in the most over this summer?: Moar art to make up for the terrible 2011 Asylum art.  It's a bit bad.
Have you participated in past ArtSlams? Which ones?: Been here since 2009, officially part of the furniture.

COMICS, YOU SAY? Boy am I ever smitten about that!

Single panel per page thing as my brain really struggles with panels most of the time for being able to read them less they are very clear flowing :) Page 1 is up though Page 2 is NEARLY done, I was aiming for Saturday but think my exhaustion today given I've got to finish colouring the background characters then one of the main characters I don't think I'll manage it.

Thank God page 3 has less perspective and bloody people to worry about.

Concept: Portfolio making! I'm focusing purely on illustrations and paintings this year in order to completely reboot my portfolio. Sketches and warm ups are of course sprinkled in between, but for the most part it will be paintings with no limitation on medium.

Who is your favourite artist?: Moebius, Sergio Toppi, Egon Schiele, Nicolas de Crecy and a vast number of others

What's one thing you'd like to improve in the most over this summer?: Just general painting and getting my traditional and digital work to jive and feel like it came from the same person.

Concept: Making a return to illustration, after spending the last 3 years on concept art! I'll be focusing on some mad portfolio building and skill development. My goal is to have a solid portfolio of fantasy illustration and personal work by the end of the summer. This will incorporate some aspects of personal projects, mainly Firebloods, but the primary aim is to prepare for Illuxcon in September.

Who is your favourite artist or author? Links?: Ohh, gosh. Jennifer Miller/Nambroth was my favorite artist growing up. I'm also a big fan of James Gurney, and N.C. Wyeth is my main choice of the golden age Illustrators. (He's been dead for 70 years so he doesn't get a link, sorry Newell.)
When did you start drawing? What do you love about it the most?: I've always drawn. I've never thought about 'what I love the most' about it and that's a question like 'who is your favorite child' so I'm not

Concept: For the first month I'll be working on improving my composition/backgrounds and figure studies/gesture drawings.

When did you start drawing?: Since I could hold a crayon pretty much. But I really started drawing a lot in middle school, thanks to the whole manga thing.
What's one thing you'd like to improve in the most over this summer?: Does just plain drawing regularly count? But composition/ actually finishing pieces if I had to pick.
Have you participated in past ArtSlams? Which ones?: 2010, 11, and 13. not that I actually finished any of them, whoops (thusly the starting on 'easy' mode this year)
If yes to the above, where are those projects now? Have any success stories that budded out of an ArtSlam challenge?: Nnnnnot in so much as the worlds/stories I've worked on in artslam (they're pretty much all sitting in "I would like to do something with you but I have not") But when I stick through
