Being the proverbial 'Jack of all Trades' actually sucks. It might seem nice to know that no matter what you try, you'll be good at it; but in reality in the end you just feel like 'second best

This is my first message to you :P I've been following The Phoenix Requiem for a while now and I found out about the Inverloch today (and finished it today as well :P). I must say you're very skilled ;)
I am skilled in a couple of things too - programming, website making (mostly the coding part, but sometimes I can come up with a good design too), playing piano (it's been a half of a year since I began learning to play it and I can already play a few songs, thanks to my previous knowledge of knowing how to read notes)... I can learn pretty much everything (except for history and economics, which seem to be too much nonsense for me :P)
Out of all the talents I have or might have, I chose programming - because I'm also a big gamer and, as most of the gamers out there, want to create my own game. I've made some attempts at that but have ended up with too little knowledge yet. This year at school I'm gonna learn OOP during the programming lessons (I'm 18 and am attending the 2nd year at a technical gymnasium - it's an equal to 11th grade)... although I'm already reading this book about software design in C++ which gives me the idea how to use OOP... Anyway, that's about it - soon (after 2 to 10 years) I'll surely have my own MMoRPG running :P
I would have written more if I didn't think I tend to write too much about myself... you see, my life is not as simple as just a few sentences, it's more like a book still being written :P
